I am a Portland attorney specializing in business law. I work almost exclusively with small businesses and new businesses. I am a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis school of law. I have undergraduate degrees in Biochemistry and Genetics. Prior to attending law school, I worked in cotton molecular genetics lab for the USDA.
When I’m not working, I try to take advantage of all the outdoor activities that Oregon has to offer.

Phil Bernstein
Phil Bernstein calls himself “Portland’s Finest Media Rep”. We assume it must be true, because it’s written on his business card. Phil has worked in advertising and marketing since 1984; after eleven years in professional baseball with the Portland Beavers and New York Mets, he landed in radio. For the past 13 years he has worked at Clear Channel Radio and Online (1190 KEX, 620 KPOJ, Z100, K103, and KOOL 105.9), helping Portland area businesses tell their stories, find more customers, and make more sales. Sarah Chenven
I am a licensed attorney in Oregon since September 2007. I currently work for Mercy Corps Northwest, which provides small business technical and financial assistance to low-income entrepreneurs. I have spent my entire 15-year career in the nonprofit and government sectors in France, Eastern Europe and the United States. I spent four years managing relief and development programs in the Balkans and another two supporting rebuilding efforts in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. I received my J.D. from the University of Texas in May 2005
Brian Germer
I am a certified public accountant licensed in Oregon and the Technical Director at James H. Richardson, CPA, PC with almost nine years experience in public accounting. I work with many local small business owners and provide a wide variety of services including tax return preparation, compiled and reviewed financial statements, tax planning, QuickBooks consulting, IRS representation, and accounting system design. I graduated from Portland State University in June of 1999 and worked at Veris Industries and Metro before jumping into public accounting.
When not I am not working I like to hang out with my kiddos and play guitar.
